Forrest-Mora; Quintana-Williams Weights and Photos

NEW YORK (June 6, 2008) – photos by Tom Casino / Showtime - In front of a large and cheering crowd at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn., Vernon Forrest weighed in at 153 ¾ pounds, Sergio Mora tipped the scales at 154 pounds, Carlos Quintana measured 146 pounds and Paul Williams weighed in at 145 ¾ pounds..

boxingThis Saturday, SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING will present a world championship doubleheader as Forrest defends his WBC super welterweight title against Mora, while Quintana looks to defend his newly acquired WBO welterweight belt against the boxer he dethroned, previously unbeaten Williams live at 9 p.m. ET/PT (delayed on the west coast). The event is promoted by Gary Shaw Productions, LLC, and Fight Nite, LLC, in association with Tournament of Contenders, LLC, DiBella Entertainment and Goossen Tutor Promotions in association with Northeast Promotions. It will emanate from Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn.

WBC Super Welterweight Champion Vernon Forrest stands face to face with his challenger, former winner of The Contender, Sergio Mora. The two will face each other this Saturday, June 7 at 9 p.m. ET/PT (delayed on the west coast) on SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING.

Forrest and Mora square off during Friday’s weigh in at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn. Forrest weighed in at 153 ¾ pounds while Mora tipped the scales at 154 pounds.

Quintana, who weighed in at 146 pounds, stares down the cameras with Williams, who measured 145 ¾ pounds. Quintana will be making the first defense of his WBO title against the man he just captured it from, the previously undefeated Williams.
