Joe Calzaghe Returns To Boxing

At a Press conference today at Celtic Manor in Newport, Wales a joint venture was announced between Joe Calzaghe Enterprises Ltd. and Triple S Sports and Entertainment Group, as both companies entered the boxing promotions arena. Calzaghe Promotions, which aims to become a heavyweight promotions company not just in the UK but throughout Europe, will hold its first fight bill at Newport Leisure Centre on 21 August 2009 with its 'The Boys are Back in Town' promotion featuring three of Calzaghe Promotions' contracted fighters, Gavin Rees, Bradley Pryce and Tony Docherty.

Calzaghe Promotions has also reached an agreement with Enzo Calzaghe and Newbridge Boxing Club for Enzo Calzaghe to train and manage its contracted boxers.
