20.07 - Dortmund – At the official weigh in at Westfeld Casino in Hohensyburg near Dortmund challenger Przemyslaw Saleta weighed one kilogram more than European champion Luan Krasniqi.
The Pole Saleta, 40-4 (20), who will challenge for the European title for the second time on Saturday at Westfalenhalle in Dortmund weighed in at 102,1 kg (225 lb). Champion Luan Krasniqi, 20-0 (11), weighed in at 101,2 kg (222.6 lb).
It will be the first defense for Krasniqi who captured the European title in January against German Rene Monse.
On the undercard the European cruiserweight top contenders Alexander Petkovic, 23-0-2 (11), and Rüdiger May, 34-2 (7), will battle for the WBC international title. Petkovic weighed 86 kg, May weighed 86,1 kg.
In another undercard fight at Westfalenhalle undefeated Croatian Stipe Drews, 19-0 (11), will face tough Frenchman Joé Siluvangi, 24-8-1 (9). What is billed as a light heavyweight contest turned out as a cruiserweight fight after the two stepped on the scales. Drews weighed in at 81 kg, Siluvangi weighed in at 83 kg.
