Weights from Hamburg: Solis with 117.2 kg at his pro debut

27.04.07 - Olympic champion Odlanier Solis starts his run at the World Heavyweight Championship with 117.2 kg. The three time amateur champion will be making his pro-debut tomorrow in Hamburg (19:30, arena Gym). Being 1.97 m of height, his opponent Andreas Sidon, reigning German Heavyweight Champion, is 11 cm taller but 11 kg heavier than Solis.

Former World Heavyweight Champion Herbie Hide (Norwich, England), who wants to win titles in cruiserweight division now, weighs 91.5 kg. The “Dancing Destroyer” will face Czech Pavel Polakovic (92.5 kg).
