20.05.07 - Ahmet Öner, CEO of arena Box-Promotion, was involved into a ringside battle at Universum’s 250th event in Hamburg Saturday night. Right after Jürgen Brähmer’s controversial victory over Hector Javier Velasco, Öner and two of his companions were beaten up so bad that Öner’s attendants are in hospital now..

„We have been provoked by a group of twelve 330-pound-goons who followed us at every turn the whole night.” states Öner. “Most of them seemed to be Nazis who have obviously been hired to beat us up. To me it’s clear that I have been trapped. The attack was strictly planned.”

“Also it seems to me that those bullies have been there in accordance of Universum Box-Promotion – at least nobody helped us when we were attacked. The group of goons surrounded us while I was talking to Klaus-Peter Kohl. Then they started beating us up. We got hit by fists, boots and even chairs. One of my friends will have to stay in hospital for at least one week.”

“The police got the personal particulars of the guys; some of them already have a criminal record. Of course, I already sued them for grievous bodily harm.”
