Cotto-Judah News Conference and Weigh-in, Live, Worldwide

NEW YORK, NY (June 5, 2007) -- The final news conference and the official weigh-in for "X-Plosive!" -- the world championship boxing extravaganza headlined by undefeated welterweight champion Miguel Cotto defending his title against two-division world champion Zab Judah -- will be streamed live worldwide via Yahoo! Sports, one of the most-trafficked sports sites. Promoted by Top Rank, in association with Prize Fight Boxing and Madison Square Garden, “X-Plosive!” will be broadcast live, Saturday, June 9, on HBO Pay-Per-View, from the main arena at Madison Square Garden.

Yahoo! Sports will stream the news conference, Wednesday, June 7, beginning at 11:30 A.M. ET / 8:30 A.M. ET and the weigh-in, Friday, June 8, at 1 P.M. ET / 10 A.M. PT. http://sports.yahoo.com/

"We are thrilled to be able to work with Yahoo! Sports in making the news conference and the official weigh-in available live to boxing fans around the world," said Bob Arum, CEO of Top Rank. "The demand both at the gate and via pay-per-view is astounding and with an incredible amount of foreign territories buying the rights to this event, this seemed to be the logical extension in reaching an international audience. It's really a credit to Miguel Cotto's worldwide appeal."

This marks the third consecutive year Cotto (29-0, 24 KOs), of Caguas, Puerto Rico, has headlined at the ‘Mecca of Boxing’ on the eve of New York’s annual National Puerto Rican Day Parade. Judah (34-4, 25 KOs), from Brooklyn, is no stranger to dethroning world champions. He has promised a major urban renewal of the welterweight division, beginning with the demolition of the defending champion.

The Cotto vs Judah four-bout pay-per-view telecast, beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT, has a suggested retail price of $44.95. It will be distributed by HBO Pay-Per-View and will be available to more than 61 million pay-per-view homes. HBO Pay-Per-View is the leading supplier of event programming to the pay-per-view industry. For your daily Cotto vs Judah fight week updates, log onto www.HBO.com
