“Tank” Williams at Morongo!

“We’ve been blessed with a lot of local support and it’s the main reason our shows keep selling out,” said Al Franco. Franco, along with Willie Schunke, is part of the team that runs II Feathers Promotions. II Feathers returns to the Morongo Casino’s ballroom venue on Friday, July 13th with eight scheduled bouts. Heavyweight, Sherman “Tank” Williams (33-10, 19 KO’s) is slated to headline against an opponent to be announced..

The semi-main event will feature popular knockout artist Michael “Lil Warrior” Franco (7-0, 6 KOs) of Hesperia who’ll be taking on Manuel Sarabia (15-19, 10 KO’s) of Los Mochis, Sinaloa. Franco had an impressive outing in April and is looking to keep his record perfect. The two will collide at the bantamweight division in a six rounder.

An excellent under card will include Flyweight Anthony Villareal of Perris vs. Paul Anistro of McAllen, Texas. Pomona’s Gustavo Torrales against Hesperia’s Khadaphi Proctor in the Super welterweight division. Ramon Torres of Riverside takes on Lamont Ingram of Las Vegas at Welterweight. Hemet’s Eddie Leal will meet Sergio Herrera of Oxnard in a Super Fly scrap. Super featherweight Jose Magallon of Las Vegas takes on Alejandro Arteaga of Bakersfield. Rounding out the card will be Gilberto Luque vs. Freudis Rojas of Las Vegas.

“These are well matched fights by Jimmy Montoya,” said Franco. “We’re proud of the work Jimmy’s done with II Feathers. He consistently puts on wars that keeps the fans wanting more.”

Tickets will be priced at 35, 50 and 100 dollars for the best seats in the house.
