Darnell Wilson comments on Chagaev vs Ibragimov: "Unquestionably, Wladimir Klitschko should fight the winner"

wladimir klitschko17.07.07 - By Izyaslav “Slava” Koza: With the first heavyweight unification bout in eight years scheduled for October 13th between Ruslan Chagaev and Sultan Ibragimov, it is important to create an objective perspective attitude regarding this significant fight.

That is why Slava’s agenda based plan is to have 3rd party observers from the boxing world weigh-in on it and show why exactly it is important to encourage other fighters, regardless of weight class, to follow suit.

First up, is top ranked, and highly avoided, vicious knockout artist Darnell “Ding-A-Ling” Wilson.

Darnell, a cruiserweight with a heavyweight punch, is providing initial commentary because it seems to me, that if given the chance, win, or lose, he will take the big fights at cruiser to give the world one cruiserweight champion. The same risks Ruslan and Sultan are taking to give us 1 single heavyweight champ.

“I think it’s terrific, and even though Wlad is the guy recognized as champ, it is great to see 2 belt holders square off to clear things up in the heavies. Nowadays there are too many fighters who are preoccupied with not losing, rather then proving what they are worth, by risking their undefeated record Guys who don’t get that you have to earn the '0,' not just make it up. Here you have two undefeated fighters, who believe enough in themselves to fight it out and prove what they are worth, and that deserves respect. Unquestionably, Wladimir should fight the winner, in order to create one single heavyweight champion.”

A more in depth interview with “Ding” should be up within a few days.
