King Arthur works out with Hertha Berlin players

arthur abraham14.08.07 - King Arthur Abraham welcomed two special guests at the Max-Schmeling-Gym today. Germany international Malik Fathi and fellow Hertha Berlin team-mate Christian Mueller joined the IBF middleweight champion for a special training session. "They did well but they were fortunate that I did not test their chin," the champion joked.

Coach Ulli Wegner certainly liked what he saw. "Christian Mueller is very talented. Letīs keep him here. He would be a good welterweight," the coach noted - only for Hertha Berlinīs assistant coach to turn down the offer. "No chance," Harald Gaemperle replied. Berlin will lock horns with defending Bundesliga champions Stuttgart in their home opener on Saturday, while Abraham will make his first fight in Berlin as the reigning IBF champion.

"If Hertha beat Stuttgart and I win by KO, everything will be fine," Abraham vowed.

Fathi and Mueller will of course support the champion in the Max-Schmeling-Halle on Saturday night.
