Skelton matches Williams

05.06.04 - By Ben Elshaw: Matt Skelton (13-0-0) went into this fight knowing that Danny Williams has stopped his opponent Bob Mirovic (37-12-2) at the end of the fourth round. In the first round in a packed York Hall, Bethnall Green Skelton caught Mirovic with a powerful uppercut and Mirovic dropped to the floor. Skelton went on to fight with the intensity he always does and at the end of the fourth round Mirovic retired himself despite his manager trying to persuade him to fight one more round because of a swelled right eye that Skelton had. Another Win for Matt Skelton and could this mean a European title shot is on the way?
