Kenny Craven Set To Get Back On Track

Queensbury, NY – TheDailySports.com Boxing Promotions has announced today that Kenny “The Raven” Craven, 28-19 (23 KOs) is set to get back on track against Ezra Sellers, 28-7 (25 KOs). The contest will be the Main Event of “Rumble At The Rock” and will be this Friday at the Hard Rock Café in Biloxi, Mississippi. Roy Jones, Jr. is promoting the show..

Kenny “The Raven Craven” is coming off a loss freak loss to Former World Cruiserweight Champion, Vassiliy Jirov in July and he’s set to right the ship.

“Jirov caught me with a body shot that basically paralyzed me long enough to give him the W. I have been training hard and feel a win over Ezra Sellers this Friday night at the Hard Rock Café in Biloxi is my chance to get back in the mix for a possible title shot in the Cruiserweight Division”, said Craven.

Craven, who has fought most of his career at Heavyweight, has been campaigning and training as a Cruiserweight, which is a more natural weight class for him.

Sellers, who is coming off a 6th round KO over Troy Beets, has been tipping the scales over 200 lbs, so he has actually been fighting at Heavyweight. Craven is not concerned what the fight is actually classified come fight time.

“Whether the fight is officially at Cruiserweight or Heavyweight is no concern of mine. Bill & I have discussed this one hundred times; we want a shot at a World Cruiserweight Title. After I beat Sellers Friday night, we hope to move one step closer”, Craven said.
