16.06.04 - Dominic Pesoli's 8 Count Productions' in association with Lou Duva's Duva Boxing are proud to announce full details of UNDEFEATED, a spectacular lineup of professional boxing at the DePaul Athletic Center on Friday, June 18th broadcast live on ESPN2's Friday Night Fights. Fight fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance by calling 312-226-5800 in order to assure entry.

Headlining the action packed card is a ten round junior welterweight bout between two highly regarded unbeaten prospects looking to break into the top 20 world rankings as Chicagoan Al "Speedy" Gonzales, (14-0-1, 7KO's) takes on Philadelphia's Demetrius Hopkins, (14-0-1, 6KO's). Hopkins is managed by his uncle, World Middleweight Champion, Bernard "The Executioner" Hopkins.

Just added to the card is a Chicago "cross-town showdown" between local middleweight prospects David "The Weasal" Estrada, (4-1, 2KO's) and "Marvelous" Shay Mobley, (6-2-1, 2KO's) in a scheduled six rounder.

A special feature attraction is the return of former amateur standout, welterweight Rudy "El Cachorro" Cisneros, (1-0, 1KO) in a four round bout. Cisneros had the DePaul crowd on their feet from start to finish last Friday night as he made his pro debut at "Latin Explosion" with a thundering first round knockout over veteran Ron Clardy.

Co-headlining the card is another junior welterweight affair between two rising prospects as Kendall Holt of Patterson, NJ, (15-0, 11KO's) takes on Tom Davis of Weatherford, TX, (8-1-1, 4KO's) in an eight round bout.

Also returning to the DePaul Athletic Center is Chicago native lightweight Tommy Pyle, (1-0) who made his successful pro debut in a terrific slugfest against Marty Lee Nunn this past April. Pyle will face off against Danny Schlienz, (4-4-1, 3KO's) of Grand Macias, MN in a scheduled four rounder.

After a ten month layoff local favorite "Homicidal" Sammy Merza, (13-0, 10KO's) returns to the ring in a six round super middleweight bout. Merza seeks to regain his highly ranked prospect status by restarting his career with a splash at UNDEFEATED.

Crossing the Indiana/Illinois border is hot young prospect, lightweight Jermaine "Too Sweet"
White, (2-0, 1KO) of Merrillville, IN. The 22 year old White had his hometown crowd buzzing in April after his four round all action war with Jamie Alvarado and his 8 Count Productions debut is hotly anticipated by the local crowd.
