30.06.04 - DiBella Entertainment has signed Michael Warrick, fresh off his unanimous decision victory over Jeffrey Resto, to an exclusive promotional agreement; it was announced today by DBE president Lou DiBella. All three judges gave the edge to Warrick after the junior welterweights valiantly traded power shots, with Resto being floored twice during the action. Fans can see Warrick (18-1, 11 KOs) and Resto (17-2, 11 KOs) in one of the year’s most thrilling slugfests, which will air nationally on HDNet, and regionally on the Madison Square Garden Network, Fox Sports New England and the Empire Sports Network.

Warrick (18-1, 11 KOs) fights out of Washington, DC, and is managed by WBO super flyweight champion and DBE star Mark “Too Sharp” Johnson.
“Michael Warrick and Jeff Resto gave fight fans a fight of the year candidate and a reminder of what boxing is supposed to be,” says DiBella. “We are proud of the redemption that Resto achieved; still he was unable to defeat a hungry and motivated warrior in Warrick.”
We are proud to be Michael Warrick’s new promoter and look forward to giving him the opportunities he deserves.”
