HBO Boxing To Replay Taylor/Pavlik I

February 8, 2008 - Leading up to the rematch between Kelly Pavlik and Jermain Taylor -- set for Saturday, February 16 in Las Vegas and broadcast live on HBO Pay-Per-View-- HBO Sports will present the exclusive replay of the first action-packed fight showcasing their considerable talents..

On Friday, February 15 at 8:00 p.m. & 12:00 a.m. (ET/PT) and Saturday, February 16 at 8:45 a.m. (ET/PT), HBO2 will replay Taylor vs. Pavlik I 2007. In their first encounter on September 29, 2007, it was a battle of the middleweight division’s two undefeated stars that produced a fight of the year nomination. After being knocked down and almost out in the second round, Pavlik responded in dramatic fashion, registering an impressive seventh round stoppage over the reigning middleweight champion.

The fight will also be available to HBO On Demand subscribers and can be seen 24 hours a day, from Monday, February 4 thru Monday, February 25.

On Saturday, February 16 at 9:00 p.m. ET/ 6:00 p.m. PT, HBO Pay-Per-View will present Pavlik vs. Taylor II live from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
