Commonwealth Champ Jason Booth Returns March 7
March 7 sees Commonwealth bantamweight champion Jason Booth continue his climb back to the top of the British and European boxing pack when he makes a title defense at the Harvey Hadden Leisure Centre in Nottingham, England on the undercard of Rendall Munroe's title challenge of European super bantamweight champion Kiko Martinez..

The card also sees the comeback of Jason's brother, Nicky Booth, a former British and Commonwealth bantamweight champion who has been out of the ring for four and a half years.
"The Booth's were once described as The Golden Brothers of British boxing," said Frank Maloney, the promoter of the March 7 Nottingham show. "Now, they are looking to reestablish their place after each has endured troubled periods outside the ring that kept them out of action."
Jason Booth stands as one of the top men of the lighter divisions in the UK over the last decade, having carried out British and Commonwealth title reigns at flyweight and moving up to cage the IBO super flyweight belt as well.
"I'm so glad to be fighting back in front of my home crowd," said Booth. "I had some great nights there in the past and I intend to prove that I can still draw the crowds in Nottingham, so my promoter Frank Maloney will do more shows here in Nottingham. It is also an inspiration to me to see my brother Nicky back in the ring and I know that he can do exactly the same as me and win a title."
Jason's opponent Lante Addy is the mandatory challenger for Booth's title and the ambitious African from Ghana comes into the contest as the WBO Intercontinental, West African and Ghanaian champion at bantamweight.
"Booth vs. Addy is the chief support to Rendall Munroe's European title challenge and this is just one more step towards the Midlands fast becoming the hotbed of British boxing like London and Manchester once were," said Maloney.
Also on the bill is the big punching Irish heavyweight from Belfast, 22 year old Scott Belshaw, who continues his education.
