Odlanier Solis in action twice in the next two weeks

Olympic gold medallist Odlanier Solis will show his special qualities two times in only two weeks. After taking on Adrian Rajkai (15-6-0, 4 kos) from Hungary this Friday at OPI 2000’s show at the Palalido in Milan “El Sombra” (“The Shadow”) will be back in action on March 14th in Munich..

“For that date we have a special opponent for Solis”, stated ARENA-CEO Ahmet Öner today. “It will definitely be a former world champion.”

There will be news on that issue tomorrow from ARENA’s press conference in Munich.

Meanwhile ARENA’s “First Lady” will no longer fight for the Hamburg based promoter. Öner: “Derya is a very nice girl but female boxing is just not important to me. Women have a lot of qualities and I really love them – but I don’t love to see them in the ring! Over the last months I realized that I’m not pushing Derya with the same power and energy as I do it with the guys. Hence it would be unfair to keep her under contract. Now she’s free to negotiate with other promoters. I wish her the best of luck for that.”
