Cota Boxing Promotions Signs Two Undefeated Prospects

March 7, 2008 — Cota Boxing Promotions is proud to announce that it has recently added Gabriel "Rey" Martinez and Rodolfo “Bam Bam” Armenta to its growing stable of fighters. Both fighters are under management of Venki Cantua and will be making their debut on March 29th at the "Gymnasio Tigre Garcia" in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico.

Martinez (17-0-1, 9 KO’S), who hails from Empalme, Sonora, Mexico is a four-time National Amateur Champion, has participated in the Pan American Games and was chosen to the Mexican Olympic Alternate team. Martinez is looking to take over the Welterweight Division in the near future.

Armenta (4-0-0, 2KO’s), who hails from Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico is a young fighter with great punching power. Look for this young prospect to be a force in the Light Welterweight Division.

These two fighters join WBC CABOFE Middleweight Champion and former Contender TV Series Star Miguel Espino as well as undefeated Bantamweight prospect Kaliesha “Wild Wild” West to the Cota Boxing Promotions family. All four fighters are scheduled to appear on the March 29th fighting card in Mexico.
