ITV and promotional powerhouse Hennessy Sports have teamed up to stage one of biggest British cards of the year which features Witter making his third title defence against number one WBC mandatory contender, America’s Timothy Bradley.
Yorkshireman Witter shares top billing with Nottingham favourite Carl Froch as he tackles unbeaten Russian Denis Inkin in a WBC super-middleweight final eliminator.
'It will be great to showcase my talent in front of a nationwide audience,' said Witter.
'The great British public will now be able to see the fighter who Ricky Hatton is avoiding.
'I'm defending my WBC title, the most prestigious belt in boxing - a title Hatton has never been able to win; in fact, he got knocked out fighting for the WBC title in his last fight (against Floyd Mayweather).'
The main card will be broadcast on ITV1, with further fights from the undercard airing on ITV4. Coverage will also be simulcast on ITV.com
