Bryant-Pudar, Hatcher-Martinez Top CKP Card Nov.22

13.11.03 - Two highly regarded heavyweights with splendid records-Derek Bryant of Philadelphia and Jovo Pudar of Queens, N.Y.-clash in the 10-round main event on the nationally and internationally televised "Everlast Heavyweight Explosion" card presented by Cedric Kushner Promotions Saturday, Nov. 22, at Caesars Tahoe in Stateline, Nev.

Bryant, a southpaw, has a record of 17-1 with 14 knockouts while Pudar has won 13 straight and has a mark of 20-1 with 10 knockouts.

The heavyweight eight-round semi-main event features Charles Hatcher of Columbus, Ohio, against Gilbert Martinez of Sacramento, Calif. Also on the six-bout card are David Bostice of San Bernardino, Calif., against Sione Asipeli of Las Vegas, Nev., and Kelvin Hale of New York City against Prince Majestic of The Bronx, N.Y., in six-round heavyweight fights; undefeated super middleweight and law school graduate Joey Gilbert of Las Vegas in a four-round bout; and International Female Boxing Association and Women's International Boxing Association minimumweight champion Vaia Zaganas of Las Vegas in a rematch against Stephanie Dobbs of Moore, Okla., in a six-round contest.

The card starts at 7 p.m. (Pacific) with doors to the Circus Maximus Showroom at Caesars Tahoe opening at 6.

Tickets, priced at $15, $20, $30 and $40, are on sale at the Activities Center at Caesars Tahoe from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily and at Guest Services at Caesars Tahoe 24 hours daily.
