A-Force battles American Jason Barnett on Calzaghe vs Hopkins undercard

Olympic gold medallist Audley Harrison (21-3-0) will meet American journeyman Jason Barnett (10-6-0) on the undercard of the Calzaghe-Hopkins bill tonight in Las Vegas. Harrison, 36, returns to the ring for the first time since being knocked out by Brit Michael Sprott fourteen months ago. "Im back and ready to rumble," said Harrison..

"It is a great show to be on and Im glad for the opportunity to get back out there.

The London, England native, who fights out of Las Vegas, Nevada, makes his latest attempt to revive his faltering career against 33-year-old Floridian Jason Barnett.

Veteran slugger Barnett was a late replacement for Ed Perry and took the fight on six days notice.

We got the call on Sunday night, but without itinerary or a contract, I didn't want to announce it, said the American.

I got a little nervous that it wasn't going to happen when I saw Ed Perry's name listed as his opponent, but the flight info came through yesterday and I am ready to go.

This is my biggest opportunity, and I have everything to gain from this fight. I'm not going to Vegas for a quick payday and free trip.

I would love to have a couple more weeks to train for Harrison but I had to jump on this offer as soon as it came to my manager.
