That’s the only exclamation that comes to mind after watching the devastating right hook that put former IBF light welterweight champion Juan Urango (20-1-1, 16 KO’s) closer to a championship fight. The Juan Urango-Carlos Vilches IBF eliminator bout took place on Wednesday night at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

Round one started with Urango, 27, trying to chase Vilches, as the Argentina-born stepped back in an effort to avoid the fire zone. Urango kept the pressure and at the very end of the round caught his opponent with a half-loaded right hand that shook Vilches´s amalgams and sent him to the canvas. Rounds two, three, and four were a photocopy of the first one: on one glove, we had a cautious Carlos Vilches moving and using the jab. Juan Urango, on the other glove, continued the hunting until he threw a fully-loaded, lethal right hook that forced Vilches to visit the ants for several minutes. When he kissed the canvas, it was obvious he was not going to be able to continue. Wow! The hook was simply spectacular..

With this knockout victory, the Monteria-born took the IBF #2 spot and it seems that his most probable fight will be against Paulie “Magic Man” Malignaggi.
