Hasim Rahman Destroys Terrence Lewis!

29.07.04 - Former undisputed heavyweight champion Hasim ``The Rock'' Rahman knocked out Terrence Lewis in 43 seconds into the second round Wednesday night. Rahman landed a strong left jab early in the 2nd round, which broke the nose of Lewis and dropped him to the canvas. From the very start of the bout, Rahman clearly had too much power for Lewis, as he backed him up constantly with a strong jab and big right hands.

"I'm hungry and I'm willing to fight anywhere, anytime, anyhow," said Rahman, now in line for a rematch with Ruiz or a shot at No. 3 James Toney.

Rahman got his 32nd career knockout and raised his record to 39-5-1. While Terrence Lewis, from Philadelphia, fell to 31-14-1 with his third straight loss.
