Roman Greenberg to fight at Wembley, 10th September
30.07.04 - Heavyweight prospect Roman Greenberg, unbeaten in 15 bouts with 12 of those victories coming by way of stoppage, is fighting at Wembley Arena on 10th September. Roman is on the undercard when the rising star of British boxing David Haye challenges IBO world cruiserweight champion Carl Thompson in a battle of big punchers at Wembley Arena. Don't blink is the advice as experts predict Haye vs. Thompson to be an explosive encounter.
Roman Greenberg is the hottest heavyweight contender in the UK and a rising international star; he expects to become European heavyweight champion within a year.
His record of 15 consecutive wins proves him to be the most exciting prospect in heavyweight boxing and has catapulted him onto the international scene. Considered by many observers to be the fastest heavyweight since Ali, it's little wonder his management expect him to be the first billion-dollar boxer.
Famous for his speed in the ring, Roman's rise up the sporting ladder has been swift. In 1999 he was the youngest ever winner of the Israeli national heavyweight title and in 2000 became the World Junior Silver Medallist. Born in Russia and then raised in Israel, Roman has since made the UK his home.
