Tua and Management in Court
15.11.03 - Tuaman Inc. Management (Kevin Barry and Martin Pugh) were very happy with the ruling delivered by Justice Fisher in the Auckland High Court on Friday November 14. Tuaman Inc. initiated proceedings against David Tua and were granted each of the orders that they were seeking.
Firstly, that all documents, accounts, notes, invoices, bank statements, spread sheets and disks that had previously been taken by David Tua and his associates be returned to the offices of Tuaman Inc. and be given to the court appointed accountant by Friday.
That the bank accounts previously frozen by Martin Pugh, after David Tua and his associates attempted to remove all funds, still remain frozen, and the money taken be returned to the management accounts.
Most importantly of all, Justice Fisher ordered that the way that David Tua’s accountant had accounted for the money owing to the management was wrong and he ordered that an independent accountant audit the Tuaman Inc. financial books on the correct basis as per the valid management agreement.
Tuaman Inc also approved that $100,000 be given to David Tua for his training camp, as it is in our best financial interest to assist him with his preparation, as we have a valid management agreement.
