09.09.04 - Dominic Pesoli's 8 Count Productions and Bob Arum's Top Rank Incorporated along with Miller Lite presents Mexican Independence Brawl this Friday night, September 10th at Chicago's Hawthorne Race Course televised internationally as part of Telefutura's SOLO BOXEO Friday night professional boxing series.

Tickets, starting at $25, can be purchased in advance by calling 312-226-5800. Hawthorne Race Course is located at 35th & Laramie, just minutes from the Eisenhower and Stevenson expressways. Doors open at 6pm, first bell is at 7pm.
Headlining this huge card is a junior welterweight showdown between Mexican Arturo "El Silencioso " Morua, 18-6-1 (13KO's) of Guadalajara, Mexico and Argentinean Omar "Tito" Weis, 30-4-3 (16KO's) of Los Angeles, CA.
The co-main event features the return of Chicagoland favorite Al "Speedy" Gonzales, 14-1-1 (7KO's) as he takes on fast rising prospect, Derrick Moon, 5-3-1 (1KO) of Fort Worth, Texas in a junior welterweight clash.
Also appearing on the card in separate bouts are Illinois State Middleweight Champion "Macho" Miguel Hernandez, 12-1 (7KO's), junior middleweight Rudy Cisneros, 1-1 (1KO) and Carlos Molina, 3-0-1 (1KO) of Appleton, WI.
Additionally making his pro debut is three-time Chicago Golden Gloves champion, super middleweight Don "Da Bomb" George in a special four round attraction.
The open to the public weigh-in will be held this evening (Thursday) at Luna Mexicana Restaurant at 3565 W. Fullerton on the northwest side of Chicago at 7pm.
