Arreola is set to take on Travis "The Freight Train" Walker as the co-featured bout at the Citizens Business Bank Arena on Saturday, November 29 preceding Paul "The Punisher" Williams in his 12-round battle against 3-time World Champion, Verno Phillips for the interim WBO Super Welterweight World Championship. Both bouts will be televised on HBO’s Boxing After Dark.
Arreola (25-0, 22 KOs), who hails from nearby Riverside is bidding to become the first Heavyweight World Champion of Mexican descent. Coming off a dominant third-round TKO performance against Israel “King Kong” Garcia, Arreola was planning on fighting the likes of former world heavyweight titleholders Hasim Rahman and Sultan Ibragimov or former World title challenger David Tua, but once all three declined the opportunity, he turned his attention to Walker.

Arreola has other plans. “I’m motivated for this fight. He thinks knocking out bums is going to impress me? I ain’t no bum! I promise, you won’t see me in the type of shape I was in my last fight ever again and I’m coming to put on a show. And my performance on November 29 will prove it.”

Junior middleweights Yuri Foreman and James Moore to clash for Foreman’s NABF title in Atlantic City on December 13 on Showtime
In a sensational matchup of foreign-born, New York-based junior middleweights, unbeaten Yuri Foreman, 26-0 (8 KOS), a native of Belarus who has also lived in Israel, will battle the very popular James Moore, 16-1 (10 KOS), a native of County Wicklow, Ireland, on Saturday, December 13, at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.
At stake will be Foreman’s NABF title. The 10 round fight will be part of a Showtime broadcast headlined by the rubber match between WBO junior welterweight champion Kendall Holt and Ricardo Torres. Promoting the show is Top Rank, Inc.
The well-conditioned Foreman, 28, is a perpetual motion machine who in his last five outings won decisions over fighters with a cumulative record of 118-17-2. The hard-punching Moore, the former captain of the Irish national amateur team, won an 8 round decision over Christian Lloyd Joseph in his last bout in August.
“I’ve always said I wanted tough fights, and Yuri is a great challenge for me because he’s fast and elusive,” said the 30-year-old Moore, a highly regarded body puncher who is trained by Lennox Blackmoore.
“We both came to the United States with the same dreams, so this is a great crossroads fight for both of us. I am really looking forward to it.”

Nick Sampson & Macke Roberts of Sin City Sports & Entertainment LLC. say "Pro boxing is the best sport in the world bar none, and we want to take boxing back to the hey day of it's golden era. We decided to start a boxing promotion company because we feel their is a void in the sport of pro boxing. We look at the sport of boxing from the fans perspective. We have met with many boxing fans in recent months to get their opinion on the state of boxing, and their biggest complaint are the lack of quality fight cards being put on from top to bottom of the fight card. We feel that instead of complaining about that problem, we would rather put forth the effort to make a positive change in the right direction for the sport we love.
Nick Sampson & Macke Roberts of Sin City Sports & Entertainment LLC. say "As a boxing promotion company we are just starting out and we have big plans for the future, but we have to be smart and make wise choices so we can continue to grow and expand as a boxing promotion company. If you are a talented pro boxer looking for an opportunity to become successful in the sport of boxing and become a mainstream entertainment star make sure you contact Sin City Sports & Entertainment LLC."
The focus of Sin City Sports & Entertainment LLC. as a boxing promoter will be to put on entertaining fight cards with good matchmaking, so that every fight on the card will be exciting for our fans. We want to give the boxing fans a platform to provide us their feedback, which will allow us to consistently put on quality boxing events.
We are interested in working very closely with corporate sponsors, television and cable operators, and business executives to create innovative marketing strategies to increase live event ticket sales, revenue, and television ratings for the sport of pro boxing. Sin City Sports & Entertainment LLC. has plans to promote live boxing events at various venues across the USA starting in January 2009.
