Joan Guzman Makes Lightweight Limit
Two time world champion, Joan Guzman, proved to the world that he can make weight. On Friday, December 19th, Joan Guzman, weighed in below the 135lbs. weight limit for his fight against Ameth Diaz. I did not come to the Dominican Republic to lose in front of my people. Everyone will see Saturday that their Dominican champ is back and better than ever."
Diaz, who arrived in Santo Domingo on Wednesday from Panama also weighed in under the 135lb weight limit. In addition to Guzman and Diaz, Argenis Mendez who will be the co-main event of the night also complied with his weight limits along with, Victor Cayo, Hector Julio Avila and Jose Guzman.
