The Showdown Part 2 rescheduled - Now Dec. 12
18.11.03 - “Return of Friday Night Fights: The Showdown Part 2,” promoted by Pendarvis Boxing Promotions, in association with the Dew Drop Boxing Club, has been rescheduled two weeks later to December 12 in Worcester (MA). The venue also has changed and the show will be held at the Worcester National Guard Armory (Lincoln Street).

Former IBU World and 2-time NABF champion “Sucra” Ray Oliveria (45-9-2, 21 KOs) headlines the card against TBA in the eight-round main event. In the co-feature, world middleweight champion Leititia “Baby Girl” Robinson (9-0, 8 KOs), of Chicago, battles No. 6 rated Yvonne Reis (3-1-1), of Ft. Lauderdale, in a six-round, non-title fight.
Newly crowned WBA welterweight champion, Jose Antonio Rivera, will be honored in his hometown and the show has been dedicated to the memory of boxer Jamar Carter, who died last month in a New Jersey house fighter.
Super middleweight Derrick Graham (12-7-1, 4 KOs), of Newark (NJ), faces Dave “The Hammer” Hamilton (15-11-1, 5 KOs), of Hudson (MA), in a six round match. Roy “House of” Payne (15-12-4, 6 KOs), of Worcester, squares off against veteran Robert Folley (27-8-2, 17 KOs), of Mesa (AZ), in a six-round cruiserweight match.
Also on the undercard in a four-round bouts are Lawrence featherweight Denise “Mighty” Moses (2-0, 2 KOs) against Anita Parker (0-1), of Philadelphia; Lawrence junior middleweight Alex Infante (3-1) meets Bilai Burns (0-4), of Philadelphia; Mass. featherweight title-holder Elio “The Destroyer” Rodriguez (8-3, 2 KOs) versus TBA in a non-title bout.
