Wlodarczyk: “I will attack him like a pitbull and I will not let go”

By: Damian “andyZOR” Markut - The bout between Krzysztof Wlodarczyk vs. Giacobbe Fragomeni for the WBC cruiserweight championship is less than a week away. May 16th in Rome, Italy, the two tough cruisers will battle it out for a scheduled 12 rounds. This will be Fragomeni’s first title defense since he won it last year vs. Rudolf Kraj. Krzysztof “Diablo” Wlodarczyk in a recent for Polish newspaper, said “If by some chance he [Fragomeni] does not go down, it will be hard to win on points in Italy..

Diablo believes in his skills and says that he is very well prepared for this fight next week in Italy.

“I had sparring sessions with partners who had a similar style to that of Fragomeni. I trained a lot on the counter, especially my left hand. I have a good game plan and have set many actions, in which Fragomeni himself will not expect.”, said Diablo confidently.

“I know a knockout will quite possibly be needed, but I am hitting hard. If I even see that Fragomeni is even slightly hurt, I’m going to attack him like a pitbull and I will not let go.”

The Cruiserweight division already has a Polish star in Tomasz Adamek, will next week be different? Can Wlodarczyk claim Ľ of the titles? Maybe so, but all I know is, that this fight will be a war.
