PRESS CONFERENCE QUOTES
Edwin Rodriguez: “I’m thankful that for this opportunity coming up. Less than two weeks ago, my fight (in Manchester, NH) fell out. I’m ready for this fight. I’ve been sparring with Peter Manfredo, Jr. and Elvin Ayala. I’m happy to be fighting Darnell Boone. He’s beaten four undefeated fighters. I’ll share the ring with Darnell Boone and show the world my talents. I will come out victorious. I love boxing!”
Darnell Boone: “Good luck to all the fighters tomorrow night. Hopefully, everything will work out well at Twin River and we can all come back to fight there again.”
Demetrius Andrade: “It’s going to be easy fighting a midget. I’m glad everybody will see what I can do against a guy who just wants to talk about the opponents I’ve fought. I’m in tremendous shape. I’m going to be clean. I’m going to put some leather on Mr. Clean (shaven-headed Chatman). I plan on being 8-0 with 7 knockouts; I’m thinking four rounds, not six. My name speaks for itself. I talk the talk, walk the walk. It’s all good to me.”
Chris Chatman: “It’s going to be a good show. I’ve trained hard. Take heed, my friend (Demetrius Andrade). I’m not Patrick Cape or John Williams. I’m not any of the adversaries you’ve fought who are not even worthy to be in a gym. Take heed.”
Vladine Biosse: “I feel good and I’m well prepared for this fight. I’ve trained hard and sparred, here and all around, against the best like Peter Manfredo, Jr., Edwin (Rodriguez) and Demetrius (Andrade). I’m ready for this fight. I’ll give you my best in the ring tomorrow night. It’s going to be fun.”
Tarafari Lawton: “I’m here to give a good show and do my best.”
David Bauza: “I want to thank my trainer, Luis Rosa, for my great conditioning for this fight. I want to thank CES for this opportunity.”
David Marquez: “I’m here to win. Everybody be safe.”
Simeon Dunwell: “This is my first time fighting in Rhode Island. What you can expect from me is I’m fast and hit hard. I’m going to come forward, not running, unless it’s towards the other guy.”
