A constant presence in the training camps of Andre Berto, under the tutelage of trainer Tony Morgan, Elegele has gotten a first hand look at the road to a championship.
“Andre and I have been training together for many years, starting when we both were amateurs. We’ve sparred quite a bit, especially when he was preparing for Luis Collazo. With us working together, he’s been a huge help in my growth as a fighter.”
“It’s truly inspirational for me to see him become a world champion and achieve so much success. I’m happy with the way my pro career has started and I’m convinced I have what it takes to follow Andre to the top.”
Elegele will face off against fellow southpaw Mario Hayes, 4-5-0, of St. Petersburg , Florida in a scheduled four round bout on Saturday night.
Along with trainer Tony Morgan, Elegele is guided by award winning manager Cameron Dunkin and promoted by TKO Boxing Promotions.
