Manfredo Jr. - Hernandez heats up!

PAWTUCKET, RI (May 17, 2010) Peter “The Pride of Providence” Manfredo Jr. has wrapped up his training camp in Pawtucket, Rhode Island and is headed to the Mohegan Sun for his showdown with Chicago’s Angel “Toro” Hernandez this Saturday night, May 22nd. “It’s been a great camp; I’ve put in the all the work and I’m right where I need to be on weight. Angel is a very tough fighter who’s faced some outstanding guys in his career and weathered their storms. I need to be smart, I’m in terrific shape and ready to go to battle” said Manfredo Jr. Looking at his record, I have to be ready for a twelve round bout and I am. The fans are in for a great fight, styles make fights and this one has war written all over it..

Under the guidance of his father, Peter Manfredo Sr., the longtime New England fan favorite is facing Hernandez for the vacant IBO Middleweight Title.

UNCASVILLE, CT (May 13, 2010) Starting today, Thursday, May 13th, Peter “The Pride of Providence” Manfredo Jr. and Matt “The Sharp Shooter” Remillard headline an exciting week of PUBLIC WORKOUTS at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT prior to their title fights on Saturday, May 22nd. The public workouts also feature four undercard fighters including hard- hitting female welterweight Adelita Irizarry, lightweight prospect Joseph “Chip” Perez, and pro debuting light heavyweights Ron Scott and Reinaldo Graceski and will be held in the Shops Concourse at Mohegan Sun using the following schedule:
