“Although he was a southpaw, I figured him out pretty easily. I hurt him early on in the first round and I think my power was too much for him” said Zewski.
With two of his first three bouts being broadcast in Canada, Zewski has become one of the country’s most popular fighters.
“It was a thrill to fight so close to home. The crowd was terrific and very supportive of me which means a great deal.”
The Zewski/Hoffman bout was presented by TKO Boxing Promotions in association with Interbox.
Said Chet Koerner, President of TKO Boxing Promotions, “Mikael continues to improve with each bout. He’s an exciting fighter with knockout power in both hands. We’re planning on keeping him very busy and look forward to his continued progress.”
