Caparello, who has enjoyed an impressive start to his career, will fight McKay over ten rounds, his first bout of such distance, in what looms as his biggest challenge to date..
McKay, whose fight record is quite deceptive, is a dangerous fighter, who has fought some of the biggest names in Australian boxing. He has taken on the likes of Tim Bell, Nader Hamdan, has a win over Sonni Michael Angelo and scored a draw with Daniel Baff.
This is a grudge match, which will surely be exciting and a bout that can go either way.
The main support bout sees Steve Gillingham (4-3) contest Aaron Ross (3-2, 1 KO) for the vacant Victoria State cruiserweight title over eight rounds.
The eight fight card will showcase fighters from six weight divisions between welterweight and cruiserweight. Other boxers to appear on the night include Jimmy James, Robert Monitto, Karim Afghan and Brett Williams.
Tickets start at $50 and can be purchased at the door. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.boxingtickets.net.au.
