Frenkel and Murat ready to shine in England

Alexander Frenkel (22-0, 17 KOs) and Karo Murat (22-0, 13 KOs) are ready for the biggest fights of their young careers. The two up-and-coming Sauerland talents put their unbeaten records on the line on Saturday at Frank Warren´s Magnificent Seven show at the LG Arena in Birmingham. While cruiserweight sensation Frenkel challenges European champion Enzo Maccarinelli, Light Heavyweight hopeful Murat battles out a WBO Eliminator with Nathan Cleverly..

“Alexander and Karo got what it takes to be successful in the lion´s den on Saturday night,” Hall-of-Fame-Promoter Wilfried Sauerland said. “It will not be easy but I am confident they will leave the ring victorious. Maccarinelli is a former world champion and a good puncher, but he has a rather weak chin. Knowing Alexander´s power and his boxing skills, I think he will stop Maccarinelli after seven or eight rounds.”

Sauerland also believes that Murat will see off Cleverly. “Cleverly is a good young man with a good record but Karo has fought much tougher opponents than he has. Karo is more experienced and that will make the difference on Saturday night. I expect Karo to clinch a points victory.” Murat added: “I have analysed my opponent carefully. I will exploit his weaknesses in the ring. I will let my fists do the talking on Saturday.”

Frenkel is also confident of success. “It is an honour to fight in Birmingham and we will put on a great bout,” he stated. “Everything can happen in boxing. I am prepared for 12 hard rounds.”
