Marcus Thompkins vs Aslanbek Kozaev

In a battle of undefeated welterweights, Aslanbek Kozaev scored a competitive unanimous decision over Marcus Thompkins with scores of 59-55 twice and 60-54. Aslanbek wasn’t shy of coming forward with providing a great balance of going upstairs and downstairs with his shots. Thompkins, who was competitive with countering in parts, couldn’t deal with the chopping right hands of Kozaev nor the short left hooks on the inside. Aslanbek Kozaev improves to 12-0, 4 KOs with Marcus Thompkins falling to 5-1-1, 2 KOs.

Adrian Grandos vs Trenton Titsworth

There was no kissing this time involved as Trenton Titsworth was highly overwhelmed against Chicago Welterweight Adrian Grandos (4-0, 2 KOs) in a five round beat down. Titsworth, who is mostly known for kissing Jesse Vargas on the temple during the course of a fight in 2006, stood there like an antenna taking everything that was thrown at him. Grandos attacked like a buzz saw with Titsworth shelling up throughout the whole fight. Scores were 50-45 twice and 50-44.

Luciano Perez vs. Anton Novikov

Russian Anton Novikov was slow, but sturdy in a unanimous decision over Chicago Journeyman Luciano Perez. The two were both come forward pressure fighters, but lacked the speed to make an exciting brawl. However, both were still persistent with the two trading wide, looping shots. Novikov landed the better shots on the inside and out was simply too much for the game Perez. Scores were 79-73 twice and 78-74.
