Solomon And Ibragimov To Fight On The Wba’s “KO Drugs” Card In Panama
The Heavyweight Factory`s Brad “The King” Solomon (14-0; 6 KO’s) and stablemate Timur Ibragimov (29-2-1; 16 KO’s) will set sail for Panama to be part of the WBA’s “KO Drugs” card, to take place on October 2nd at the Roberto Duran Arena in Panama City. Solomon is currently rated 12th worldwide by the WBA, and holds the WBA International welterweight belt. Ibragimov, rated 10th worldwide by the WBA, is the current NABA heavyweight champion..

Solomon, considered one of the hottest welterweight prospects in the world will face off with Pablo Vasquez (19-1; 18 KO’s). We are confident in Brad`s unique talent and know he will be victorious when it`s all said and done stated The Heavyweight Factory`s Director of Boxing Henry Rivalta.
Solomon is coming off some very impressive wins in his last four fights and feels he is destined to dethrone the current greats in his weight class. "God has blessed me with this wonderful talent and I will make the fans proud when I step in the ring. I am very happy to come to Roberto Duran`s home town and it is really a pleasure for them to welcome me,” said Solomon. A role model in his community, Solomon spends much of his time speaking to youth at local schools about staying off the streets and away from drugs.
Ibragimov will also showcase his talent as he squares off with Panama`s Luis Andres Pineda (22-8; 18 KO’s). Ibragimov has high hopes for 2011. As stated by Ibragimov, “I want to fight David Haye and the Klitchkos. I feel I am ready now more than ever. I am the strongest I’ve been in a long time and my conditioning is great. It is my pleasure to fight in Panama and I will give a great show.”
