Also making an appearance that night as a very special added attraction will be Sechew "Iron Horse" Powell (26-2, 15 KOs), the Brooklyn-based IBF #1 world rated light middleweight contender.
Warriors Boxing President, Leon R. Margules, says for a smaller show, The Homecoming has a lot to offer local fans. "We've got Danny O'Connor the highly decorated amateur and now red hot professional prospect coming home to his adoring fans for his first in-ring appearance as a professional, plus we've got a chance for the fans to see the world's top junior middleweight, Sechew Powell, perform. We are also putting together a fantastic undercard of other local prospects. And it's all going to be held in Nevins Hall, which is located in the historic Memorial Building, in downtown Framingham. Everything is in place for this to be an unforgettable night of world-class boxing."
