Anthony Villarreal Added To Vs. Margarito Under card

Anthony "Baby Assassin" Villarreal 10W-2L (5 KO's) returns to the ring on November 13th as part of the Manny Pacquiao Vs. Antonio Margarito under card. In his last outing on September 11th from Riverside Ca, the Assassin was in with San Diego native Benji Garcia in what was a whirl wind of a fight. The Assassin caught the game veteran early into the opening round and then finished him with a short right hand putting him down for the 3rd and finale time in the same round..

Now he faces off against former Philippine Champion Richie Mepranuam who boast a record of 22 wins with only 2 defeats. Villarreal who was a standout amateur won multiple titles and was ranked number one for three years as as amateur. He was also the WBC Intercontinental Youth Champion but lost his title to another Filipino back in January of 2010 in a controversial decision in the Philippines. Villarreal has been asking for a rematch with the Filipino's Promoter "ALA" Promotions with no luck, now with this fight coming up soon, Villarreal is hoping that a win over a fellow countryman will force the hand of his former victor and another fight will be made.
