Nathan Sting returns March 5

14.01.05 - By Tony Nobbs: WBU bantamweight champion Nathan Sting is back in Australia. The 31 year old southpaw returns to action on a d-Rush promotion at Homebush on March 5 when he faces Filipino Rolly Lunas over ten rounds. This will be Stings first outing since defending his title on points against British champion Nicky Booth in Nottingham on September 2003..

Sting based himself in England last year but was unable to secure a fight. Inactivity has seen Sting drop out of both the IBF and WBA top 15. He rejoined trainer Les Wilson on the Gold Coast in December. Former PABA champ Lunas figures to provide a decent first up test.
