Douglin to face Berkshire December 17!

Morganville, NJ (December 9, 2010) – Unbeaten junior middleweight Denis “Da Momma’s Boy” Douglin will take another step up in competition when he faces Matt Berkshire over eight rounds Friday, December 17 at the Doubletree Hotel in Monroeville, PA.

Berkshire holds a solid 11-2-2 professional record and has 5 wins by way of knockout. The Morgantown, WV native’s two setbacks each came against quality opponents in Jesse Nicklow and Dominic British. He’s also been a pro since Douglin was a senior in high school.

“I honestly don’t know very much about Berkshire,” Douglin said of his foe.” But I expect a tough fight from everybody, especially an experienced guy like this. I am training like it’s a world title fight.”

Winning is all Douglin has done thus far in the paid ranks, racking up 11 victories against no defeats with seven of his victories coming by knockout. The 2008 National Golden Gloves Middleweight Champion, who resides in Morganville, NJ, will be fighting in his fifth different state and is eager to steal the show.

“I am going to get in there, let my hands go, hit and not get hit and get him out of there because I don’t like decisions.” “This is going to be a great fight and the fans are in for a real treat.”

Tickets are available by calling 1-800-745-3000.
