Floyd Mayweather Junior Arrested - What A Terrible Year For “Money!”
By James Slater - Pound-for-Pound king Floyd Mayweather Junior (or #2, depending on who you have as the best, Floyd or Manny Pacquiao) was arrested last night in a Las Vegas casino, it has been reported. Jailed today due to the misdemeanour warrant that was put out on him for allegedly poking a security guard in the face outside his home last month, the 33-year-old star is now being held at the Clark County jail without bail..

Mayweather will reportedly be in court on Monday.
This really has put the cherry on the cake of a terrible year all round for Mayweather. Having been in the news for being in trouble with the law for a number of reasons this year (the infamous altercation he had with the mother of three of his kids being the most unpleasant aspect of Floyd’s troubled year - to say nothing of the awful, racial, homophobe and just plain nasty home-made video Mayweather released attacking would-be rival Manny Pacquiao), Mayweather has made headlines for all the wrong reasons.
To be sitting in a jail cell right now, when he could have, with more mature behaviour been a free man, Mayweather has apparently hit rock bottom. Heaven knows if he will face further, long term jail time when his court appearance for the felony charges he allegedly committed back in September rolls around.
We’ve seen big-name boxers as well as stars from other sporting arenas fall apart before, but Mayweather’s recent erratic behaviour has been shocking all the same. Back in May, he was outclassing Shane Mosley in a huge fight, and now he is being accused of all manner of things outside of the ring as well as being labelled a ducker by some fight fans.
Will Mayweather ever fight Pacquiao now? Will he ever fight anyone ever again?
