Klitschko vs. Adamek in September

By Vitali Shaposhnikov: “I can officially announce that Monday evening I signed the contract to fight Wladimir Klitschko in September, in Poland for a heavyweight championship fight,” said Tomasz Adamek” – Fightnews.com.

“Everything worked out, we are all very happy with this development. Both sides agreed to all the points, and as far as we know, Wladimir already signed it too, so now we are waiting for television stations from US and Germany to setup the best possible date in September,” said Adamek’s longtime manager and advisor, Zyggi Rozalski.

I can easily say that this may very well be the most exciting heavyweight boxing match-up in the last few years. Wladimir Klitschko outclassed all of his latest opposition to the extent of viewer’s boredom. His opposition (as well as Vitali’s) does not attract any enthusiasm from the public, due to the fact that the result is obvious before the fight ever comes on.

While I can clearly see Adamek losing this fight by a landslide, I am confident he will put up a better fight than any other boxer Wladimir has faced in a very long time.

With a proper strategy, Adamek has a very good change of sending Wladimir to the canvas. It’s getting past Wladimir’s monstrous jab that will take all the effort in the world.

In any case, everyone should be pretty excited about this event, and start thinking of possible outcomes and scenarios, as Adamek has proven himself as a worthy, a truly worthy, opponent for Wladimir Klitschko.
