Jeff Lacy to be featured on A&E's "Caesars 24/7" Next Monday

02.02.05 - All the drama and excitement from the October 2, 2004 Jeff Lacy-Syd Vanderpool IBF world super middleweight championship fight, will be featured on next Monday's episode of the popular series "Caesars 24/7," which will air Monday, February 7, at 10 P.M. ET/PT on A&E. The episode, entitled "Against All Odds," will feature an exclusive behind-the-scenes look of fight week, following Jeff, promoter Gary Shaw and trainer Dan Birmingham as Jeff prepares to become the first member of the 2000 U.S. Olympic team to win a world title..

Lacy, 18-0 (14 KOs), will be making the second defense of his IBF super middleweight title, against Rubin Williams, 26-1 (15 KOs), Saturday, March 5, at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, NV. The world title tilt will be televised on SHOWTIME Championship Boxing, beginning at 10:30 P.M. ET / 10:30 P.M. PT. The broadcast will also feature the world
lightweight title unification bout between WBC champion Jose Luis Castillo, 51-6-1 (45 KOs), and IBF counterpart Julio Diaz, 30-2 (22 KOs).
