Temecula, CA (June 23, 2011) - Tomorrow evening Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, CA will host the ESPN2 "Friday Night Fights" doubleheader presented by Goossen Tutor Promotions.

In the main event, reigning World Boxing Council (WBC) USNBC Lightweight Champion John Molina, Jr. (21-1, 17 KOs), from Covina, CA, will square off with Denver, CO tough veteran Robert "Red Hot" Frankel (28-10-1, 5 KOs). The semi-main event will feature Bakersfield, CA junior welterweight Mike "The Silent Assassin" Dallas, Jr. (17-1-1, 7 KOs) battling Mauricio "El Maestro" Herrera (17-1, 7 KOs), of Riverside, CA in an evenly matched bout on paper and a toss-up in the ring. The Dallas-Herrera bout will be promoted in association with Thompson Boxing. Both bouts are scheduled for 10-rounds.

Patrick Majewski Honored by Atlantic City For NABO Middleweight Title Win!
Atlantic City (June 23, 2011) - The newly crowned NABO middleweight champion Patrick "The Machine" Majewski received a special decree from the city of Atlantic City last week for his triumphant performance against Marcus Upshaw on June 11 at the DeSoto Civic Center in Southaven, Mississippi.
Majewski, who is unbeaten at 17-0 (11 KO), is a native of Radom, Poland but relocated to America ten years ago at the age of 21 and began boxing out of the Atlantic City PAL with trainers Bill Johnson and Arnold Robbins. Majewski is promoted by Global Boxing Promotions.
The decree from the city council, which is dated June 15, 2011, reads:
"Whereas; the relentless, non-stop attack proudly allowed him to capture the title belt and go down in history as the new NABO Middleweight Champion of the World; and
"Whereas, Patrick's hard work, determination and devotion to the sport of boxing have paid off and are an inspiration to many.
Now, Therefore, be it resolved that City Council of the City of Atlantic City, hereby congratulates Przemek Patrick "The Machine" Majewski for becoming the new NABO Middleweight Champion of the World."
Majewski was overwhelmed by the honor, stating "This is a very proud moment in my life. I have worked very hard to reach this goal, and will continue to work hard to achieve higher plateaus in my career. To have the support of Atlantic City, as well as my fans back home in Poland and those who come to my fights, gives me great inspiration and motivation to reach for my goals."
