PROVIDENCE (March 2, 2005) – Promoter Jimmy Burchfield today announced that his company, Classic Entertainment & Sports, Inc., has signed USBA super middleweight champion Yusef Mack (18-0-2, 11 KOs) to a promotional contract. Mack made his first title defense last Friday night in Las Vegas, winning a 12-round unanimous decision (119-109, 119-109, 118-110) against Richard Grant. A typically tough Philadelphia fighter, Yosef also holds a victory against (21-4-2) Donnell Wiggens (KO2) and fought (17-1) Randy Griffin to a draw.
