Ghana's Osumanu Adama prepares to gun down Karmazin October 7

By Prince Dornu-Leiku: Ghanaian boxer Osumanu Adama hopes to up his case for a crack at a world title when he takes on former world champ Roman Karmazin in an IBF Middleweight eliminator on October 7 at the Club Chicago, Burbank, Illinois, USA.

The IBO International Middleweight and USBA Middleweight champion has told the Ghana-based newspaper exclusively from his US base that this is his chance of a lifetime with a long term promotional deal with Oscar De La Hoyas Golden Boy Promotions and a world title fight in the pipeline should he prevail over the 38 year old Russian.

Its like a world title fight for me, Ive been waiting for this opportunity all my life and this is the chance. If I win this fight, it will open many doors for me especially as Golden Boy Promotions have promised me a contract and I will do it, Adama nicknamed Machine Gun said via phone on Monday.

That is why Osumanu Adama (19-2, 14 KOs) remains unperturbed with the fact that he is fighting against a former IBF Light Middleweight champion with a 40-4-2 (26 KOs) massive experience.
Dont think about the experience or the record, dont think about that. Hes just a boxer with two feet and two fists like myself and for me this boxing is my life, my everything and I train everyday. I am ready to take this chance that has been offered me and nothing will stop me.

I want my fans and all Ghanaians to rest assured that Im going to give them victory again as I always do so they should all keep on praying for me and all will be well, Osumanu Adama assured.
