Karmazin vs. Adama weigh-in tonight
On October 7th, Osumanu Adama (19-2 14KO’s) the current IBO Inter-Continental Middle and USBA middleweight champion will indeed be put through the biggest test in his professional boxing career as he is scheduled to face former IBF light middleweight champion Roman “Made In Hell” Karmazin (40-4-2, 26 KOs). The IBF proposed bout is the main event for Cynthia Tolaymat’s CFC Promotions “Chicago Fight Night III”.

Before the fight takes place these fighters will get their first glance at one another during the official weigh ins which will be taking place at 6pm at “The Club” which is conveniently located at 7600 s Cicero avenue in Burbank, Illinois.
Also on hand will be “Irish” Mickey Ward and Dicky Ecklund who will be leading their fighter’s super middleweight “Irish” Joe McCreedy (15-5-2 6KO’s) and light welterweight Sean Eklund (9-4 2KO’s) to the ring Friday night. Both Irish fighters who hail from Lowell, Massachusetts are looking to make the fans of Chicago proud and represent the Irish community.
Former WBA world champion “Vicious” Vivian Harris Harris (29-7-1 19KO’s) will be taking on former Indiana state champion Jermaine “Hawk” White (17-4 9KO’s) in a 10 round welterweight contest. Harris is looking to rebound after his loss to Lanardo “The Pain Server” Tyner in which he lost a decision costing him the USBO title.
The undercard will feature middleweight contender Derrick Findley, Ramon Valenzuela Jr, Light welterweight Antonio Canas as well as heavyweight Boban Simic who is making his long awaited professional debut.
Boxing fans are encouraged to attend weigh ins tonight, fans who attend this event will have opportunities to meet fighters such as “Irish” Mickey Ward, Dicky Eklund, welterweight contender “King” David Estrada, Roman Karmazin, Osumanu Adama and much more.

WSB Franchise Pohang Poseidons to relocate to Bangkok, Thailand
Baku, Azerbaijan, 6 October 2011 - Following the World Series of Boxing draft held today, Dr. Ching-Kuo Wu, AIBA President and WSB Chairman, announced that the Pohang Poseidons franchise would move to Bangkok for the 2011-2012 season.
