Klitschko-Rahman bout possibly to be rescheduled for June 18

16.03.05 - Following an thigh injury to WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko, the bout with Hasim Rahman is being possibly pushed back to June 18, 2005, at New York's Madison Square Garden. However, this date may not work out either, as the month of June has a busy fight calendar with several big fights happening, which could likely push this date back further.

In the meantime, WBA heavyweight champion John Ruiz has reportedly volunteered to defend his title against the 36-year-old James Toney on April 30 in order to fill the spot vacated by the Klitschko-Rahman cancellation.
