Kessler: I値l show Froch I知 still the better fighter

By Justin Cabarle: Mikkel Kessler is open to facing IBF super middleweight champion Carl Froch in a rematch if he wants it. Kessler is well aware that Froch is still bothered by his earlier loss to him from two years ago in the Super Six tournament and Kessler wants to give Froch the opportunity to try and avenge the loss.

That might be Froch痴 best chance for a big fight in his next bout because Andre Ward is tied up with Chad Dawson, and Robert Stieglitz and Arthur Abraham are facing off in August. The winner won稚 be ready for a bout until likely early 2013.

Kessler said to 的 am sure Froch thinks he will beat me next time, and I hope there is a next time, as I will show that I am the better fighter. I would have no problem traveling to England to face Froch. He came to Denmark, so why not?

This would be a good fight because their previous fight was a close bout with Kessler dominating early and then withstanding a comeback from Froch in the second half of the fight. Kessler pulled it out in the championship rounds with his speed and combinations. Kessler wouldn稚 fall victim to the things that got Bute in trouble last night. He wouldn稚 stay on the ropes making it easy for Froch, and he痴 much harder to hit with right hands compared to Bute. Kessler also throws combinations unlike Bute.

He痴 not a fighter that just looks to land one big body shot or head shot like Bute does. Kessler has similar power to Bute, but he doesn稚 just throw one punch. That痴 what makes Kessler so good. He had Froch hurt at one point in their fight, but Froch recovered immediately and was able to keep fighting at a high level.
